is that package good enough to live in Qatar ??!

Hi all of u,

i received an offer to work in Doha and i do not know whether it's good enough to survive and save money or no?
i will live with my spouse and 2 months yo girl, the package is 10,000 QR + family accommodation + car , can u help me with that??!

i am egyptian and my lifestyle is near to average-you can say, i am working now in UAE and i think both UAE and Qatar are alike with respect to the major life aspects, anyway i think i won't come as the difference is not that much but i had to ask and thanks for all of u

No. That is the short answer... If you're used to doing stuff like you would in Europe/UK or the States, then QR 10k is not enough, for you your partner and a young child. Anyone who tells you it is, is not being honest. If however, you don't like eating out at a decent restaurant occasionally, and have no need for personal grooming/hair cuts/ mani/pedi's etc, and no need to join a club/gym/spa/beach resort etc, for recreation (as there is not a lot to do here...) then yes, QR 10k is enough!!

If I were you i'd negotiate upwards. Or don't move here. The cost of living is high in my view...
