Qtel has a promo running from July 7 till August 14 2008 for calls made from 11 pm to 6 am and the rate was 0.20 Dirhams per minute but to my surprised when I saw my QTel bill today, the rate applied for the calls were the off peak rates and not the 0.20 Dirhams (I am using my landline), anybody have similar experience?

Yes, they have mentioned 0.20 Dirhams per minute, I have here a copy of their advertisement in Gulftime which mentioned calls to all postpaid, hala and landline customers (local calls using your landline is free here in Qatar).

the promo is for mobile and local calls only, Since you have used your landline the bill which you have received is correct.
