Is the quality of services at KFC outlets in Doha declining?????

Yeah its true...!!! I am living in Middleast for almost 15 years. so i can see the declaim in service very easily. specially in Qatar. i have lived in KSA & UAE. But the service in Qatar is very poor. Specially the customer service, sometimes you feel they are even biased in their service. The Quality of Food has Gone drastically down. we all-most stopped going to KFC. infact we never recommend to anybody because of their stupid service / customer care.

same thing happened me ... i ordered dinner combo n it was missing salad or something ... i call them n say its ur mistake .. so send it through home delivery services .. but they say no .. really KFC is getting bad...

yeah i know ppl remember bad incidents vs good ones ..

Funny to note that only yesterday, my family was talking about the obvious cost cutting in Pizza Hut. We also had a couple of experiences in KFC, with uncooked pieces with the coating hanging about the chicken. This summer we have decided to cut down on hotel food, especially the Shawarma,Americana range of terrible things,etc.Instead we are experimenting with avocadoes, mangoes etc.But birthday parties are the killers, espcially with the current offers!

Beat the system!Plan ahead and cook. Money and health will not part from us.....

I think most of these fast foods quality is getting totally junk. They all have increased their prices on everything. And now if you want Zinger with cheese, thats one riyal extra. I am not trying to be stingy but don't you think a zinger for 15QR is too much?

Now a days if i order a Super Supreme from Pizza hut, they hardly put any meat on it. I mean that it just freaking cheap. I mean do they think by not putting just 5 small pieces of meat will make them rich? This country is getting annoying as hell

Now its all about how many customers served/hr/day/month,employee of the month,best franchisee etc. Nobody wants to care about customers,coz they they know.."brand sells",no matter what!! Its WE who should be blamed,coz WE allowed this junk food industry to grow incredulously and ridiculously.Its our dependence of these junkies that have lead to our own plight.People each what ever they produce,even without thinking how patties made or vegetables harvested. Its now a multi billion dollar industry alone-Fast Food Industry. Even major criterion like cleanliness and hygiene are being compromised for the sake of fast buck.Stale food,fowl smell from air con,employees without caps and gloves,attitudes etc etc. In US,major studies on ergonomics and human movements to save time for making each burger/service of customers/delivery periods are being undertaken..all for fast bucks from fast food!!

Ultimately..WE are responsible for all this. WE the generation can't live without it??????????? Even though child/adult obesity and heart diseases are major concerns worldwide.

I had an incident once at KFC Airport when my husband placed an order, and then quickly changed his mind and politely asked that our orders (only the drinks) be changed from Cola to Sprite (or 7-Up, I don't exactly remember). The asian lady cashier there also quickly changed her mood and said half-shouting, "WHAT? TELL ME WHAT YOUR ORDERS REALLY ARE!" (She was saying this in her native tongue, which is unfortunately, also same as mine). Is it not so rude of her??? Being a customer service I understand that hers is a tiring job, but she should control her temper especially with customers, and regular customers at that!

i guess so.. i was about to share my experience with KFC delivery service last night, just piled out with too much work yesterday, I wasn't able to do so..

anyway, worst delivery service i've ever encountered so far. I ordered around 12:45AM for bucket meal.. after 30 minutes I called them and asked how long will it take for my order to be delivered, I was amazed to know that I still have to wait for another 30 minutes for my order.. As such, I wait and wait until the time was over.. So again, I called, as I expected I was told to wait for another 5-10 minutes.. after 10 minutes I called and was told to wait for another 10 minutes..

Everone who supposedly will eat what I ordered chose to sleep though they were hungry..

Then I called after 10 minutes, and I was told to wait still since my order was on the way already.. I asked how long do I still have to wait it's pass 2AM (more than an hour since I ordered), and yes they told me they don't know because according to their monitor, my order was already on the way. I asked if they can contact the delivery man and told me "they can't" and give me the number of the store where my order was made.. Much disappointed when I found out what the situation was when I called the number they gave me.. I was told that my order was still there and told me to wait for another 10 minutes for it to be delivered.. OH MY GOD!

Even if I wait for almost 1 and 1/2 hour, I furiously cancelled my order because I don't know how many more minutes or hours do i have to wait for my food.. sigh=(

You know, the best solution would be chop some vegitables and put it in the box. There is no better food other than going green. Not that I am suggesting to quit non-veg, I myself love it... But when you can't find it then go for veggi...

Maxmo - I hate fast food, but when working on site in Messaid before our canteen was ready there was very little option where to eat :o(

For all those guyz who love this JUNK, should watch the movie called "Super Size Me", if you can't find one try searching on YouTube.

In short, most of these places use Chicken that goes through Harmon Treatment to increase there size & weight. YES, the same thats given for females & for those willing to become females. Also, you will see alot of surprising things in the Video "Super Size Me", related to there business concepts and how to make there customers additected to their MENU.

Worst thing we do is, we take our children to such places thinking they will get to play in kids area while we are eating, the fact is that we are teaching our kids from a very young age that these places are good for them. You will see most of the younger generation takes this as a fashion icon to sit in these places and have there breakfast, snacks, lunch or dinner rather than eating home made food.

i just hope that mangement of KFC read all these comments do some favourable actions.

Eat only during the starting time, otherwise, if it's closing time, your experience would really matter.

Hah! You wanna try KFC in Messaid - the "manager" is a complete arse, the staff are surly, the place is dirty. once was enough for me - vote with your feet.

I always go to the KFC near my house (Madinat Khalifa) just off the roundabout- they are ok there as are the branch on Al Sadd Street. I find that Burger King have good service but not too keen on MacDonalds- their fries are always cold and their meat tastes anything but meat :-( !

The KFC headquarters or franchisor is to blame. They fail to carry out regular visits to their franchisees to evaluate their performance in accordance with the obligatory operational manual content...always been a shabby operation that always seems in need of a good clean!

i pick up food from salwa road branch... and once or twice it so happened that i got half cooked chicken.. i mean the coating...

I have learned that here you need to take the time to look over your order before leaving. even if it holds up the drive thru line.

I tried ordering from KFC for delivery,they are not polite when they talk with you. They should have telephone etiquette training or something.

KFC, Hardy's, ... you name it. Possibly MCDonald's is the one that maintains some stability in service level and food quality, and that is not 100% true always.

I've had numerous issues wiht KFC; extremely delayed deliveries (over 1 hour and the reason is that they have a lot of orders, as if that's an excuse), wrong orders, missing items in order, rude staff, etc. I spoke to the managers of both KFC and hardy's many times, it's useless.

They are all part of the Americana group, HQ'ed in Kuwait, and I believe they would be interested to hear about such service level. No decent holding company would risk losing a franchise because of careless staff (including outlet managers).

if u buy i meal look in side the chicken u will see an normal color is it black not white and it shode be

I suggest u can but a same meal with nice vere vere nice tast with good price with fresh food from (( baba jons ))

Yes, I do agree that the general attitude of the staff is very lax and casual, in terms of service. But I have a small suggestion to make. Instead of stopping at posting this message here, you should copy the same to the Headquarters in USA and see if there is any response. By keeping quiet, nothing is going to change.
