ALL BUILDING MATERIALS ...SO EVERY THING IS INCREASE IN WORLD....THATS Y I THING ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO DECREASE HOUSE RENTS...EVERY THING IS LINK WITH OTHER THINGS...

The landlords seem to have constructed these buildings with their extra wealth or for the matter of pride. They are least bothered if not rented. So no hope for rent decrease...thats what i believe..otherwise how can they afford to keep them unoccupied for so long? Low rents will definitely make these buildings occupied by those compromising with shared accomodations.

No the rent will not decrease for the simple reason building materials are now more expensive here in Qatar, and, it is also brought about with the fake lack of accommodation created by estate agents.

It will increase until there is no ceiling met by common or-garden expats who are living to survive.

Pretending is easy knowledge is the best.

As many, I have been waiting to see this would happen- I sincerely live on hope that many many more residential units are getting ready in next say 6 months and rents would come down.

In our building landlords have already increased the rents on some tenants whos contract had to be renewed, seems some landlord couldnt give a crap about the new laws..

The Rent Law in Qatar has decided not to increase the rate for 2 years. The rent will remain same. There will be no decrease or increase
