Hi,

Based on earlier post in QL, i could gather following areas as safe & quiet residential areas for family (with kid).

Al Gharafa & Landmark
wakra
Pearl
West Bay
dafna
al khor
al rayyan

I would like to know what can i expect to pay as rent for a decent/good quality: 2 Bedroom (2 bath, kitchen, lounge etc) in the above areas.

Also I would like to get an idea of what could be the cost of living (excl rent) - groceries, maids etc and other home expenditure, though a lot depends on the lifestyle, but still a range would be good.

Does anyone knows of any website to find/compare cost of living, as I am shifting from Bahrain and would like to get a COL comparison.

There is moderate cost of living here compared to UAE

a good villa in wakrah 5t (condo style) free standing villa 10t. i can say cost of living it depends on the lifestyle and compare to bahrain, qatar is good.
