if u r single and living in a city like bangalore u can do away the whole month with 14K (though not a very lavish life a normal one), petrol is the most expensive 60rs/litre . Otherwise when u compare with rest of things all u get at a very cheaper rate in India.

Clothings, food stuffs etc can b purchased at a lot cheaper rate in india.

It depends what you intended to buy-Any how 14 K is powerful than 1200 QR as it is rather difficult to earn it there comparing to 1200 QR here.

Depends on what you wanna buy...if you are looking for some electronics etc. buy in Qatar but if you are looking at some non-branded stuff, you may get interesting things in 14K

Well... bac in India, 14K can fetch u alot of goodies i.e. clothes, site-seeing, book a 2-day stay in any 3-star hotels... U can always find sumthing nice 2 buy or take with u by de end of day. Out here in Qatar, 1200 Qar can certainly fetch u branded stuffs (Which, givin it a gud thought... is just waste of money, since u do get de same thing much cheaper bac in India).

Go, spend & hav fun with de money bac in INDIA :)

1 rupee = 0.086 QR

1QR = 11.662 Rupees

Hi

Ofcourse Rupee has a much higher purchasing power, coz of its lesser value as compared to QR.In other words if u go out for shopping (ofcourse in India) with Rs.14k u can buy more things than with QR1200 spent in Qatar.But unlike Qatar, purchase value of a rupee changes from one city to another. For example in Metro cities the purchase value is less as that compared to small towns.
