hi everyone,

I got myself into a big mess recently due to which i may lose my license, reason being ive notched up 7 speed violations over the last 3 months from just one location( near my workplace) and going by points system I should have my license suspended for a year. Ive never gotten into the habit of checking my violations online cause over the past 4 years Ive never even had one and now this...
Im trying to figure out how to approach this problem and would like your help too as to how to clear up this mess im in....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Really need to clear this as i have my family here and one needs a car and my son has a chronic problem so i desperately don't need my license being revoked....can anyone of you suggest what i should do?

Hi,

Keep cool... u will not get ur license suspended for sure..

I hv gone thru this situation 01 yrs back (approx), lemme me explain to u what had happened with me..

I am sure everybody knows the radar at corniche road, after HSBC signal towards the city center.

I was on one month holiday (back to my home town) and that is when this radar was fixed, when i came back, i was not aware of it, and as usual i was driving in 100kmh speed everyday at 0500hrs (while going to work).. 5 days passed thru and on the 5th day a police man (who was also going to work) stopped and asked me if i was aware of the radar, (a friendly talk)... oh i was shoked,

When i checked my traffic violation, it was 3000/- i decided to pay online immidiately, and later after about 8 month, when i was in moour for registration, those ladies managed to remove the accumulated points.

Talk to the person in charge, be very convincing and as he is a human being not a computer (online payment) he might pity on you. Good luck.

Hi Brother,

The only person who can help in any way is the Captain. But again, not sure how he will consider your problem since you have had repeated same mistake again and again for seven times. I think you better register your modile with MOI on there website such that you get frequent SMS's of every thing that you are doing related with Govt.

This includes Visa Renewal, Exit Permit, Licence Expire, Vehical Istamara Expire and Traffic Voilation. Its one good way to keep yourself updated.

All the very best with your situation. I didn't know one can transfer there points into other licence, but if its possible then you can ask your friends or relative to share the points. Worst come worst case, if you licence gets suspended, then get your wife a new licence and let her help you in your travelling, that way you will be sure that you will never ever get any such tickets again.

Cool Guys! You can't pay your violations online if you have points, try it now, and believe me, anyone have points can't be settled by online payments...you have to go to morror to pay there.. yes i know exactly what i am talking about bec. my daughter had 6points only but have to renew the estimara they ask the license of my daughter or the points be transfered to me in my license. I ask them to be lenient to if posible errase or reduce the points because the points are from parking wrongly or parked not on the right parking you know what i mean. And told them we ladies should be given considerations bec. these days looking for parking is like looking for a needle in the middle of the dunes. They did nothing but i think i gave them , the officers something to think about. They spoke with each other and they gave me a hint to speak with the big officer, and it is possible to be considered...i am not assuring you of getting the bargain as mine man, but by proving yourself to be true maybe giving you consideration is also possible for you. I suggest that you start it by going to morror and admit your mistake like when you bravely did the thing you knew it will put you in trouble. Posting for a help such here, expect some rude comments bec. it is a part of it..bad or good you have to take it. No hurt feelings but the truth really hurts so cheer up, its not the end of the world, if you been careful driving then that is for your daughters sake, now move go to the morror and face the penalty or you will regret bigger!

where is the love guys, the guy need advice not curse. anyways, you read "okay"s reply? actually its logical. find a person who is kind enough to shoulder the points. bec. my brother in law had his car registered and because he is on vacation his kind and martyr friend shouldered the points, aroud 11 i think. of course my in law paid for it. maybe you can bring some friends in traffic dept. and share the points. i am not sure but desperate times need desperate measures. anyway it will only last for a year given you will not accumulate anymore violations. good luck.

Hi Speedo !!

7 violations ..late payment ..you think of digging a well after the fire breaks out !!!

you rightly deserve as much punishment coz each violation couldnt have been by repeat errors ..they were done on purpose and knowingly ..

you are guilty as hell and now you are asking US if there is a way out ..

all the best man ..i have no sympathy ...

Hi,just settle your violations ASAP then you'll know what will happen next. Pray hard and next time be extra careful when driving. Always check your violation online and obey traffic rules.

good Luck!

7 violations in 3 months ?

and you thught to repent ...."NOW" ?

as some of the freinds mentioned here, you deserve it.

Most probably they may suspend your license for a temp period.

Try to talk to some higher official, about paying the fine, but request them to waive off the Penalty points...

( Very remote chance they may consider )

pay on line ASAP! it might help you to avoid the revocation of your license. pray hard & next time always think of your family when you drive, specially to your sick son. good luck

Best thing you can do is pay your fines online and they won't even notice this violations as my brother-in-law did, when he went to renew his registration and license he has 10 fines but my sister pays it online using her credit card. good luck, drive safely next time avoid speeding up so you don't get any fines and you don't endanger yours and others life.

It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid, then don't say it.
