Hi, This is for my friend who is holding a duel residency of Qatar and UAE. He got a valid Qatar driving license since last 6 years and recently he got his UAE license. While issuing UAE license, they took his Qatar license. How can he get his Qatar license back? Anybody have the similar issue? He is working in Qatar. Thanks in advance.

As much as i have info on this, you have to go to the traffic police station, they will make a driving permit for you on a paper. then you can drive in qatar! :)

One can drive throughout GCC with UAE driving license. So no need to possess Qatar driving license since he has dual residence permit. And also he can get Qatar Driving License showing the UAE driving license alongwith the Qatar RP + company letter in madinat Khalifa traffic police.
