What about Tataskyplus ?
Tataskyplus is tatasky's MPEG4 technology with DVR (digital video recorder) priced at Rs.8900 and Rs.4999 for existing subscribers. Now for all those who are existing subscribers how do we get it changed, if we bought them locally here in qatar... as they would send the tatasky engineer to the registered address only... to install the new set top box...
you can record a programme while watching other. also you can record two programme simultaneously if you are out.
What is the extra value added service in TATA SKY+
You must have given the indian address for installation of your current Tata Sky. In the same way, ask them to install Tata Sky plus at your indian address or any of your relative/friend address in India. Once install, bring it to Doha, simple. However if you want to exchange with the current receiver, you need to take your old receiver to the originally installed location.

How can u say that it wouldnt work here? Tatasky itself it not for here but its working. Well if you are sure about this, please tell more... even i want to change it.
