What constitutes blasphemy in Qatar?

This is a serious post. I am not trying to bash anyone.

I have read in the daily papers several stories of persons being given a prison sentence for "blasphemy". Can anyone tell me (without being blasphemous) what counts as blasphemy serious enough to get a prison sentence.

I was at a restaurant yesterday and heard the manager cursing in broken English and Arabic at a waiter, but it was the usual vulgarities rather than specific religious references. It bothered me, so I tipped the waiter and left, but it got me thinking about this.

Any serious comment from someone who is familiar with Qatar's laws or Sharia law on this would be welcome.

Blasphemy is irreverence toward believed holy personages, religious artifacts, customs, and beliefs...

U will get the better understanding... Media always shows that many Islamic countries have law to put to death for blasphemy... or Quran states in this way... This is all mis-understandings and incomplete knowledge...

Read this link, you will know that what Judaism and Christianity think about it.....

It is really ridiculous when you say bad things about any religious beliefs, customs, prophets, etc, it's FREEDOM of SPEECH but when you deny Holocaust, it is illegal...

My Jews bros and sis, please don't be offended... I have given only a example, you will find many such laws that do not allow freedom of speech but when it comes to blasphemy........ It is freedom of speech...

first islam does not allow criticism , like early Christianity did in its early times , so please keep your mouth shut especially when you are with Muslims ,
