Additional to my previous answer. Indian schools are about a quarter of what you would pay for an English school making them quiet reasonable. I have a friend who can educate his three children for less than I pay for my one child.

15000QR sounds like not a bad deal and very good if your company also provide a flat with the deal.

There are restrictions on alcohol. It is possible to buy drinks in a lot of the hotel bars a some nightclubs but you are better living without it if you can and you can get alcohol licences to purchase alcohol at the beer souq (i don't know how but i know people with them) but its an expensive vice.

School is expensive here and it can be difficult to get places if you want your child to attend an English or French speaking school other nationality schools are less expensive and are easier to get into.

Now wait a minute, your age is listed as being under 18! You shouldn't be even thinking about alcohol.

Suggest you do a Search on QL to find out from previous posts. Cost of Living is high here, but you may survive if you do live normally. and to Alcohol, of course it is restricted here, we are in a muslim Country.
