My Sony vaio laptop came with Windows 8. The display resolution is very bad and I am trying desperately to fix it. Some of the features of win8 are cool and fast. Internet explorer is a mess. You have to really struggle to know how to close multiple IE sessions it opens. If you have no patience to learn, do not get it. It is not worth it. If your machine came with it, then OK have a little patience and try to learn it.

I am using both Windows8 and Windows7 and no such bug issues. I am not using the touch screen option for Win8 but is enjoying the features which are much faster than Win7.
