5K to 10 Million Walk to raise funds for education
The Northwestern University Alumni Club of Qatar and Educate a Child, a program of Education Above All, presents the 5Kto10Million Walk and followed by a film screening of'On The Way To School'.
The goal of this walk is to raise money to be able to provide education for 10 million students around the world by the 2015/2016 academic year.
'On The Way to School' is a touching, globe-trotting documentary travels from Kenya to Patagonia, Morocco and India.
It shows the incredible physical obstacles that some children must face every day simply to get to the classroom on time.
With a minimum donation of QR30 per person, all funds raised will go toward Educate A Child (EAC).
