QITCOM 2019
The Qatar IT Conference & Exhibition (QITCOM) 2019 is taking place from October 29 to November 1 at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) in Doha.
Themed ‘Safe, Smart Cities,’ the exhibition features over 100 speakers, 300 technology exhibitors, 100 startups and 300 innovators and entrepreneurs, making it a one-stop-shop for attendees to learn about smart technologies and exchange next-generation knowledge.
Since its first edition, QITCOM has become Qatar's largest digital technology event bringing together decision-makers, digital technology companies, IT industry professionals, global thought leaders and experts in order to build a better digital future for Qatar.
It also plays an important role as a major platform linking startups with investors.
Occupying up to 25,000-square-meter of space, the 5th edition of QITCOM will enable participants to review the latest smart technology solutions and share knowledge.
The exhibition will comprise a range of activities and events to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the Entrepreneurship Zone including five key platforms that combine diverse digital sectors: Startup Hub, CodeCamp, Make the Deal, IdeaCamp and Innovation Theatre.

At the conference, local and international speakers will address topics related to smart cities namely, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and urban planning.
QITCOM will also accompany the Munich Security Conference's main group meeting and the Round Table meeting on cybersecurity at QNCC, which will bring together high-level representatives from governments and institutions, business, academic and military communities to discuss regional and global security issues and raise awareness about cybersecurity issues.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) has launched a special application for QITCOM 2019 on smartphones with the aim of facilitating communication between exhibitors and visitors.
