If there are any Ozzy folk out there perhaps you could clarify but I understand that the Hurler stands in a hammer/shot-put circle, spins around to gain momentum, while gripping the Dwarf by one or more favoured limb. Once the Hurler gets to the appropriate speed they let go and lob the Dwarf as far as they can into a bed of sand (to soften the landing) which stretches away from the hammer circle.
