If you are using an international bank e.g. HSBC ... they can and will track you down (the world local bank:) ), you will get court papers against you etc and can destroy your credit rating.
This can be achieved with o/ local Qatari banks too.
We are in a world of globalisation and you are never an account number away.
+when this happens you will get footed with a large legal bill too, including any from your own lawyers.
