this one was discussed recently. In Canada we are having an issue where someone steals your identity and SELLS YOUR HOUSE. It's awful, anyways you lose your house, and the criminals take the $500,000 for selling it and so you are out of everything. (because remember there is some victim that just paid for the house).
Now, the Qatari gals I was chatting with could not understand how forgery could lead to someone losing their home, and they asked why don't they take thumb-prints when the sign the deed for the house and again when they sell it?
