My whole extended family have had Shepherds at some stage and I love them. They are protective and not vicious. However I have seen some that are aggressive. But I see that in humans too. Try walking in to the wrong pub in East London or going in to a bike gang headquarters in Aus or NZ. These people are vicious.
Yes we are omnivores - so both Herbivores and Meat eaters. By the way - mentioning Bacon on this site tends to make a few salivate :)
What I meant is that as animal owners/carers we need to take responsibility to ensure the animals we have are well kept. If we all do this then there would be a lot fewer incidents of dogs attacking their owners. It's not as if they would admit to mistreating their dog would they??
