Another thing I want you to think about is the quality of life they'll have here in Qatar. We're lucky that we live in a villa that has a relatively large backyard with grass. Many new housing areas have a very small backyard, if at all. There are places where you can go (ex. Wakrah beach) but you'd have to drive there.
Getting out to move here is a huge step. Good luck with everything.
