1)The Temperature is high at 51 deg C at Noon, make sure you drink plenty of water and also bring some ENO, Cooling tea, vegetables in most restaurents are not on the menu. Diet is bad alot of Macs so make sure you can Cook , survival cooking for balanced diet
2)Humidity is low at 20% recorded by my logger, so alot of sunblock and mosturisers are used, Try not to go out at noon, most people go out at night
3)Entertainment is nil, for Ramadan there is no food allowed , only after 6 pm food is consumed
4)Accomoidation is a must and driving is a must, the Taxis need to be booked
5)Streets are not properly labelled and you cannot describe where you are so if you take a cab of want to inform anyone of you whereabouts landmarks should be used example Ramada Hotel
Maps are limited and not accurate, street signage is bad, all signage is bad, you will not be able to tell people where you stay if you do not stay in Hotel.
Good point is Doha is small so even if you get lost the country is small
