LOL. Yeah its like a lottery ain't it? But the good part about shows is that you can read the reviews before going for it, unlike movies where you go with high expectations and end up something like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. LOL
So the confusion still remains. I think I'll stick to Friday. My Doha experience does say people are pretty laid back here. Doha isn't like Dubai or Bombay where plans change by the minute and they could accommodate two things into one evening. They like to chill out and do relaxing stuff like music of just faffing around not doing much on a Thursday eve.
Any show at Gulf Cinema becomes a formal event where people hate to re-dress into formals and then go out again in the evening to show off looking at their best. On fridays, they're generally relaxed and have sufficient time on their hands to get geared up. I guess that speaks a lot about lazy attitude in here.
But all in all, I think the biggest USP should be the show itself, if it ain't worth it people won't turn up even on the Eid holidays! LOL
