I have to mention specifically, although you might not get caught.
If you do get caught you could be prosecuted, your goods seized and the worst possible result is that if they feel that it was your intention to keep 'importing' pirated goods, then you could be sent back to your country.
Qatar has been criticized as being too relaxed with their effort to combat piracy, so since 2003, they have become much more stricter.
(Especially since the Copyright handeling center now acts independantly and does not need permission from the Ministry)
