I am relatively from the same culture as here in Qatar, and congested with agony and anger to the extent that compelled me avoid, to the best of my ability, to deal with the government of my own country (I’m an expat in Doha). I refused to work as a civil servant, even in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, just because I will not be able to handle the system-less mood-dependent clerks, deciding my own fate while sipping tea or coffee while chatting on the phone at their desk, in their workplace.

I wish this country and other similar countries, including mine, followed Islam as per the Quran. The dilemma is that our countries are not seculars and not religious either. There is no science/lab and certainly way, far too way from being a living example of God/Allah's kindness. That’s what is killing me.

Some pretend to know Allah! but He does not want to know us! Because His creation is failing Him. This is why most of Islamic countries will remain under the debris of their own wreckage. We will never rise up until we are united to be HUMANS of faith in humanity.

Also, some pretend to know Jesus Christ, they wear the cross as a chain, pendant and tattoo, while committing most hideous crimes, or performing lewd dancing and despicable shameful moves on TV screens with no respect to that holy sacred symbol, under the name of freedom of choice and expression.

Having said that, I take pride in being a Muslim Egyptian girl, who values equality, hard work, charity, integrity and more. I am fighting to be a good example to myself first and foremost, than to others. I cannot wait to gain other's respect if I have none for myself.

Again, I carry the same heavy load with you, your wife and thousands of other people. We are all in the same boat.

Now because of you!! I will have to compensate for the 35 minutes I took from my corporate time! no lunch break for me! I am starving already! how're you going to handle this hungry poor person Mr.!..:)

Salam
