We are also applying for maid visa, we both working and I am expecting my 3rd child. My husband's company's mandoop said that minimal salary requirements for the husband should be QR15K (if the wife not working). If both working and have children it is much easier to get the visa (dont know about this, will let you know once we got our maid visa).
I do have a friend with a sick wife with 3 kids, he got the visa approved, eventhough his wife just staying home.
Regarding the harsh comment about working mothers.
I am really regretting that, just like what Sally wrote, NOT EVERYONE CAN HAVE COMFORTABLE LIFE & STAYING HOME, I also wants to stay home with my kids and enjoy the time with them.
But unfortunately, one income can not cover even our very simple life in Doha, so please dont wrote those harsh comment.
