I am really sorry for you. Hope you can cope with this situation.

You should had report to police after the horrible thing happened and get the police arrested that guy and make him responsible for what he did since he's still in US. If you have police report, it's much easier for you to pursue him and his family.

But if there is no proof or witness, you cant win over him.
