just be careful when you wire your money from QNB to any other banks in your country. I had once tried to wire some money to my bank in India. To my surprise i found in addition to the telex charges there were some dedcutions to the tune of 5% of the cash transferred. ( I am not sure of the percentage, since i transferred a small amoutnf for a trial.
Anyways the catch is not there, when i went to my branch asking them the reason for this even to the extent the bank manager couldn't reply to that and i felt they were ignorant on that. it was a suprise for me. later i was asked to go to the one office in the MALL. it seems they could clarify the same. After that I didnt try that.
Strange but true, a branch manager was not able to help me. When i enquired this to my bank in India within minutes they gave me an answer that those are the charges levied by the associate bank of QNB in India. So beware of these things and confirm before you send.
