i have had a labrador before in india... yes training does come late but her training started at 2 months... we had a trainer for it... it was easier then when i didnt have any kids... i have 2 now and 4th one is due in march... as for mastiff, i have been around mastiff and they were huge but gentle... maybe u r right, it might be banned here... being new in qatar, i find everything so far off and difficult...
