Novita you can get pleanty of good quality Prayer Mats at the above Souq. I dont know if that is the correct name for the place.....I only know one Souq and that is the one which was renovated and looks like ancient. Opposite the Mosque. Where you have rows and rows of small shops and a few open spaced Cafe like thingy.
Bought a few good quality ( thick also) Prayer Mats from there. Cost me QTR25 a piece. Quality varies and so does the price. Yr Mom can easily make her pick there.
As for Mini Quraan, I have seen plenty of beautyful looking ones in Carefoure.....the big gift shop... errrrrrrr called Expo or somthing like that.
