You can get a visa on arrival based on the designation on your Saudi Visa/CPR card. Check with them as to the eligibility of your designation to get a visa on arrival at the airport.
Formatted Soul is incorrect as you are a GCC resident. I have received visa on arrival for the whole of 2006 and 2007 as my designation on my Bahrain CPR came under the category of visa's on arrival for indians.
As for the charges - as of Dec 2007 it was QR55 when you fly Qatar airways and i think QR 105 for other airlines for the visa on arrival. You need to have a credit/debit card as cash is not accepted. You will get a 14 day visa which can be extended once (another 14 days). Thereafter you have to leave qatar.
I'm not sure on the 3 months visa.
