too far, yet been given to be understood by men with the guidance of god himself...

as what you said, unless the bible says directly that michael is christ, everything is but the works of the human understanding...

but it is not mentioned directly, so would you say that it has been under errors too? or we only have different understanding of it?

the only clear is that one name above every other name in christian faith, that is jesus...

and as per scriptures, michael was categorically described as an archangel, no more no less and it is also one of the highest title bestowed on god's creation but no higher than god himself. but the name of jesus was considered in the most high above everything to the same level as god himself for he is not god's creation but his one being and that being was not michael... but jesus christ himself.

the only link that you may seen between the two is but the works of human understanding that you already agreed far from god's, well how close is it then that in you already made a conclusion (as what you said, "Yet, the Scriptures point to the resurrected Jesus Christ as the chief of all angels—Michael the archangel") or would it be proper to say that it might be, but who knows? god knows and for us humans, the only thing we may know with full true understanding is what god and scriptures tell us and left us to believed in (in christian faith)...

the name jesus is the name above every other name.

maybe more (than my understanding), but would definitely not be less (than what human does understand)... ^_^

nb: i guess this would be my last... for it isn't proper to argue somehow about religion coz anyone has right to be in their respective faith. peace everyone! ^_^
