get your priorities right,john.....sit down in a quiet corner and think well.....is your GF so special that losing her will mean the end of the world to you?or do you think that u'll never get a job as lucrative as the one you were just offered?

if i were in your place,i'll tell you what i'd do.i know i'd fall in love with only the person i intend to spend the rest of my life with.and i'd not lose him for anything.i'm educated and i have the confidence that i'll get a better job later too.but such a thing cannot be guaranteed about that special person in your life.this is just my perspective.
