Both mine are...
Realsomeone - Being today is technically speaking only 3 years since I married it is also just over 7 years since I found out I was pregnant with my first and My husband and I made a commitment to each other, no church no celebrant, just our favorite late night bar, with "Never Tear us Apart" playing in the back ground and our promise to each other. We only married officially when we found out there was a possibility we were coming here, did getting married change the way we felt about each other? No it was just a piece of paper we needed to get to make our lives here easier in order for us to come here. In fact if we had never thought of coming here I doubt we would have made it legal, ever in that sense. We have friends who have been together 16 years and never married and the one thing that keeps them together is themselves, no piece of paper, no church and no god.....By the way we didn't marry in a church, we had a traditional "Hand Fasting" in my parents back yard there was no promise to god only to each other.....

"Your born, You Live, You Die, given this premise, one can conclude since we have no control over when we are born and when we die, the only thing that matters to us should be how we live, simple really?" Mis-Cat to her philosophy Lecturer.
