but I'm still keeping an eye on them as they have been rather subdued all day.

Could be that with the nutter part or perhaps they were trying to rid the beach of "whatever"...I just don't want this to happen to other pets (or wildlife!) and certainly not to humans...depending on what was used, it could be something that can be absorbed through the skin...that would be disasterous if some child picked it up..

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked,the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.
