its society that keeps men from letting their emotions show...shame on that!!! I've only seen my husband cry twice..oops three times...last was when my father died.
I've tried to raise my sons with the idea that letting their emotions actually show when it felt right, but that's really difficult to balance in today's world. (course I was also the one who told them I didn't want to hear any crying or whining if they fell and no blood was showing anywhere...lol) I know that as a woman, I'd rather see a man cry when he was truly upset, than hold it in, because that way, i could help comfort them. Everyone needs to be able to be comforted when life gets too much to handle.
Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.
