I joined on a salary based on the international benchmark for the job. But when I saw some of the junior staff form Asia and compare the salary to the expats I was horrified. I stood up and fought for it. But the company did not relent. So on principle I quit as cannot bwork for a company which bases the compensation package on nationality.
