I worked in KSA for about three months during which I got to know a Lebanese project manager very well.

He witnessed a fight between a Saudi family and their Philippine maid and at the end, they threw her out of the house. He tried to talk them into taking her back but they refused and out of sympathy he took her to his house, got her a leave permit and paid her ticket back to the Philippines.

They still communicated through e-mails and he explained to her if he could get a kidney donor in the Philippines.

She got all information about his blood group and other tests and after some time she told him she found someone and that he only needed to fly to Manila.

When he got there, he found out that she was the donor and that she insisted on donating to him to repay for his courageous gesture back in KSA.

He agreed on one condition: that they get married, and they eventually did.

Now they both live in KSA and have a two year old kid...
