Dear All,

the main thread is very strange, neither I want to support nor i want to go against it, because it is not reffered as a personal attack to any nation or community, so why give explanation.

But from the crux of this content, I would like to share one incident may be it is useful for you all. Recently when my cousin put an advert in Gulf Times situation wanted, he got an email with a one line message, that please send your CV, with no phone and no name of the company , he in desperation sent his CV, within few days, he lost his job, because that sender, befriended someone over there, and found out my cousin's salary, and everything and straight away, sent an email to the manager, he is ready to do the job for this position at a salary of so and so which was almost 40% less than what my cousin was drawing. Due to today's crisis period, my cousin was asked to go and he replaced him. How my cousin came to know about this was while handing over to this guy, he found that email which he had sent to his boss and, my cousin just checked his correspondence and found out it was the same email id. ANd my cousin showed me the correspondences, his email to this guy enclosing his CV and this guy's message to boss offering the low salary.

May be this info is useful to you. Hence my personal opinion, though a company when putting an advert in the newspaper can with held their name/contact number, but when as an employer when the company is responding to a situation wanted advert, and sending a personalised email, it is ethical to reveal who they are especially when they are asking a confidential information from an applicant.

This incident is shared mainly for those who are already in job and looking for better prospects with better salary, please be careful while putting advert and when you receive responses. My cousin's incident is one of the best example who wanted to change his job and was exposed by some culprint and he lost his present job.
