I came across an old promotion magazine for Qatar a while back that my company had, dated from about ten years ago. According to officially-endorsed publication, many of the major infrastructure projects--like the railway, new airport, industrial city worker housing, etc., etc.--should have been finished several years ago!
Unless there are some major changes in terms of how these projects are implemented and pursued, my guess is that we'll be looking at some half-finished stadiums in 2022.
