There is another very good & true reason. Parents are overanxious about their children's personality especially if it is different from their own. They rush to the psychologist who sees abnormality in every thing under the sun because that's what keeps him in business. Most of these diagnosis are bullshit & 80-90 % children labelled with ADHD & autism are simply normal children probably a normal variation.
But I agree that if men don't take responsibility of being the bread winner & make women earn for the family, of course upbringing of the kids will not be perfect.
