I usually take the bus when my destination is on their route. The buses aren't maintained well. The seats are grimy/very dirty. And yes, that terrible smell, especially in the hot months. I tolerate all these because it is much cheaper than the taxi.
@the monk, are you sure you have a strong stomach? lol. It really stinks inside the bus especially when its full.
@bin tahir, the first few rows are supposed to be reserved for ladies and families. But many times, the men who ride on the bus don't seem to know anything about etiquette which means the driver has to tell them to give way for the lady.
During rush hour, there is also chaos because the passengers don't follow the queue (if ever there is one). This makes me real mad. Many times I got into an argument because a passenger would just cut the line and go in front. And they are the same nationalities. So I just thought maybe they don't fall in line in their own countries so I might as well forgive them. lol.
