khaderbhai, actually iam not rejecting prophet mohamed (S) , instead iam followong his very words as reported saying by him, my followers are like stars, whomever emong them you follow, you are in the right path' so by following hazrat umar, we are following very prophet mohamed (s) . Secondly tha hadeeth of Ayisha quoted above has nothing to do with taraweeh, as it indicates about witr, which is conducted in every months, not about taraweeh, and no any scholar said it is about taraweeh. Every body knows taraweeh is the special prayer performed only in ramadan. so how can this hadees be quoted as a proof for taraweeh as 8 rakaa..?
