Hi everyone thank you for your feedback, I am a bit confused. Well for the housing allowance they cannot change it as it is fixed for singles but they promised once my status changes they will change the allowance. They are very strict and not willing to negotiate much (seem there is a long waiting line). It is a new small national company but not in mobile telecomm, more a specialized field. All in all, I am feeling that the base salary is low, I asked for 10 000 QAR increase per month, they said max what we can get may be 3k - 5k but there is no guarantee we will check ... i am desperate to move to the middle East into such a role (it combines business and engineering) but I know Qatar is not like Dubai, life is different, and for this small salary increase I am having the feeling that it is not a good deal ...
