@Jones, you hit my point. It is not an employee's fault that no projects are coming in for the company. So morally speaking, it is improper to ask (or even request) an employee to take forced unpaid leaves. However, here in Qatar, nothing in the law is there to protect us from such scenarios. It is either you give in to what the company wants, or resign and go home. Either way, it is the employee's loss.
