The company may terminate you or you resign giving number of months notice as mentioned on the employment contract.
You can stay in country till expiry of your RP. However, if they terminate you and cancel the RP, you have to leave. While you have your 2 months period, you can look for a job while working with them. Some companies can also request you to stay back till the replacement is properly trained.
You can go to Labor, they may help you, you will have to keep an open mind. As long as your current employer has not wronged you, you need to follow law of the land.
